Dr. Vishnu Sharma

Dr. Vishnu Sharma is one of the very few qualified Rheumatologist in Gujarat.

He did his MBBS from SMS Medical College, Jaipur and MD(Med) from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad.

After doing his MD (Masters in Medicine), he did superspeciality in Rheumatology (DNB Rheumatology) from P. D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. He is the first DNB Rheumatologist in Gujarat.

During his DNB training he got trained with one of the masters Prof. Dr. V R Joshi, MD, FRCP, a senior and pioneering rheumatologist of Asia. He got adequate exposure of the outdoor, indoor and emergency care in Rheumatology during his DNB training. He was also awarded travel bursary in EULAR-2011 and prestigious Indo UK Rheumatology fellowship in 2012.

He is presently working as a Consultant Rheumatologist at Apollo Hospital, Bhat and at Arthritis Care Clinic, Satellite.

He had numerous publications in peer reviewed journals. He has presented talks at various conferences on numerous occasions. Apart from clinical practice, he is deeply interested in academics and research work. His area of interest are Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis and osteoporosis.


Dr. Nikunj Dadhaniya

Academic details:
Dr Nikunj Dadhaniya did his MBBS and MD in internal medicine from B. J. Medical College Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He pursued his super specialisation in Rheumatology (DNB Rheumatology) from Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New Delhi, India. He has been awarded President Gold Medal for DNB Rheumatology. He has also completed EULAR (European League Against Rheumatism) online course in Rheumatology.

  • Authored a poster (as first author) presented at IRACON annual meeting at Lucknow 2017 on ‘Hydroxychloroquine Retinal Toxicity screening using OCT – A cross sectional study’.
  • Authored a poster (as second author) presented at IRACON annual meeting at Lucknow 2017 on ‘Nailfold capillary changes and clinical profile in eight patients with positive Scleroderma serology and specific visceral involvement without any skin thickening’.
  • Participated in Rheumatology Quiz at Indian Rheumatology Association Conference 2018.
  • Runners up at Delhi Rheumatology Quiz 2019.
  • President Gold Medal for DNB Rheumatology 2019.
